At Manor Dental Care, patient safety and comfort are at the heart of everything we do, which is why we are proud to have our own inhouse consultant anaesthetist, Dr Mark Ballin.  Dr. Ballin is a highly experienced Consultant in Anaesthesia and Critical Care with over 35 years of medical experience and offers the highest level of safety in a nurturing environment. His calm and reassuring approach, combined with his exceptional clinical knowledge, helps patients feel safe and confident throughout their treatment journey.

After qualifying in Medicine from the Victoria University of Manchester in 1990, Dr Ballin completed specialist training across Manchester and Merseyside before becoming one of the country’s youngest Consultants in 1998, achieving dual accreditation in both Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and currently works within both the NHS and private healthcare sectors

An Educational and Clinical Supervisor for anaesthetic trainees

An examiner for the University of Manchester Medical School and the General Medical Council’s PLAB examinations,

Awarded the title of Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester in recognition of his contributions to medical education.

An Advanced Life Support Instructor for over 25 years, serves as a Medical Director for Advanced Life Support courses, and is an elected member of the Resuscitation Council UK.

When he’s not caring for patients or teaching future healthcare professionals, Dr Ballin enjoys playing padel tennis, playing golf, gardening, and supporting the blue half of Manchester’s football teams, although he readily admits that his sporting and gardening talents don’t quite match his achievements in medicine.

Dr Ballin’s experience, expertise and reassuring manner make him an invaluable member of the Manor Dental Care team, helping ensure every patient receives the highest standard of care in a safe and comfortable environment.

With over 3,500 successful implant case studies to his name, Dr Esteban has built up a reputable name as an implantologist over the last 25 years.  His patient’s testimonials refer to his treatment as “Life changing”.  At the weekends he enjoys hiking with his family and reading novels.

Meet our Dentist, Zaqia. Zaqia is a friendly and thorough dentist who loves being part of her patient’s journey towards achieving a healthy, confident smile. She takes the time to listen to her patients, understand their needs and ensure they feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their treatment. 

Meet our Trainee Practice Manager, Elena. Elena is a friendly and approachable member of our team who is excited to take on her new role and begin her journey towards becoming a Practice Manager. She enjoys working alongside the team and helping to ensure our patients have a positive and welcoming experience from the moment they walk through our doors. 

Abbi is our highly competent and caring dental nurse who assists our clinicians on a Saturday.  Abbi loves to learn and continues to learn and develop herself.

Supporting the Manor Team on Saturday is Imaan our friendly and caring dental nurse.  Imaan loves to spend her time surrounded by family, particularly looking after her niece.

Meet our new Trainee Dental Nurse, Katie! Katie is excited to begin her new dental nursing journey with us and is looking forward to learning and developing her skills as part of our team. In her spare time, Katie loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys continuing to learn and try new things.

Elle is our dedicated Implant Dental Nurse; she is a qualified dental and implant nurse and is currently completing a course in dental radiography. Elle loves socialising and supporting patients during their smile journey. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her friends and trying new restaurants.

Brigitte is our exceptional Saturday hygienist, bringing warmth and laughter into the practice.  She has been with Manor Dental Care for many years and loves serving our lovely community.  Brigitte loves reading and family walks.

Everyone Loves Molly!  Molly is a fantastic hygienist, providing exceptional care on Mondays.  Molly is currently renovating her house and enjoys the nicer things in life.

Meet our Receptionist, Lauryn. Lauryn is the friendly face you’ll see when you walk through our doors. She’s always ready with a warm welcome, a helping hand and a smile!  Lauryn loves going on holiday, exploring new places and making memories with her family and friends. When she’s not at work, you’ll usually find her planning her next getaway.

Naomi has been in the reception field for over three years and has a passion for engaging with people and creating a warm atmosphere for patients at Manor Dental Care.  In her leisure Naomi enjoys ballet dancing and doing nail treatments.
