Teeth Straightening

Invisalign®, Spark Aligners or Fixed Braces?

Invisalign®: Invisalign® treatment uses a series of custom-made, clear, plastic aligners that look like thin sports mouthguards. Each set of aligners is shaped slightly differently to move your teeth gradually into alignment.

Using the dental monitoring app, you can continue your treatment remotely. By sending us weekly photos of your smile through the app, we can track the movement of your teeth and give you treatment recommendations from afar.

You won’t need to come to our practice for adjustment appointments. Instead, you will change to a new set of aligners every two weeks as directed.

Spark Aligners: SPARK clear aligners are bespoke designed to fit your teeth and work away to gently guide your teeth into their optimum position. They are custom-made for each individual out of a high quality, thin plastic meaning they are more comfortable than traditional braces but just as effective.

Every two weeks you change up to a new aligner from your series, which has been designed especially for your teeth. This allows your treatment to proceed without the need for regular clinic appointments. Pair this treatment with our state of the art Dental Monitoring app for a taste of remote orthodontics.

Fixed Braces: There are two types of fixed braces we provde: Metal Braces and Ceramic Clear Braces. Metal braces consist of metal brackets fitted to the front surface of your teeth with a thin metal archwire connecting them. Elastic bands then provide pressure to the archwire to help straighten your teeth. This traditional tooth-straightening method works in almost every case. Best yet, metal braces today are smaller and less bulky than braces of the past.

Clear braces use the traditional method of brackets and archwires to move your teeth into position but are made from ceramic material that blends in with the natural colour of your teeth.
